Karen’s area of passion is extreme events, including Florida hurricanes and other events that may have a detrimental impact on the state. She was a congressional intern for Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart during her Sophomore year of college. Karen has a passion for teaching others a new way of perceiving current political situations and her long term goals include going into academia.
