Bio
Destiny aspires to seek a career in public policy. Through her observations of being a former student-teacher intern in a Title I school in Broward Country and volunteering for non-profit organizations such as Feeding South Florida, Destiny became more aware of the inequalities that exist in South Florida. Motivated to make a difference, Destiny spent her 2020 spring break in Tallahassee urging Florida House legislators to support policies related to black maternal health and affordable housing. Her purpose in life is to work towards a future where healthcare is more accessible and affordable for everyone in the United States.
