Bio
Diana is a Political Science major whose passion for advocacy and public service led her to the Hamilton Scholars program. Coming from a family of immigrants, she was raised with the belief that hard work and opportunity can create change—and she defines success as using her efforts to positively impact others. Through the program’s advocacy project, Diana is excited to transform ideas into action by advancing FIU’s priorities in Washington, DC.
With a strong interest in policy, national security, and law, Diana views this experience as both a personal and academic milestone. She hopes to strengthen her leadership, adaptability, and communication skills while learning how policy is shaped and implemented at the national level.
