Miguel is pursuing a double major in International Relations and Political Science and joins the Hamilton Scholars program with a strong focus on U.S.–Latin America relations. For him, this program is an opportunity to bridge academic research with real-world policymaking and to gain firsthand experience in how national discussions translate into action.
Miguel is passionate about connecting ideas, communities, and institutions. In Washington, DC, he hopes to strengthen his leadership and networking skills, build confidence in navigating high-level discussions, and learn directly from professionals with diverse backgrounds in geopolitics and security.
