Lazaro Bosch is a senior at Florida International University where he studies Digital Media and Communications and is minoring in Social Media Analytics and E-Marketing. This semester Lazaro is interning as a policy fellow at a lobbying firm called Cavarocchi-Ruscio-Dennis Associates, LLC. As a CRD fellow, Lazaro hopes to focus on Public Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic focusing on the modernization of the Public Health Data Infrastructure. Additionally, Lazaro hopes to make an impact in the DC ecosystem and form strong connections with FIU alumni and other professionals.

During his time at FIU, Lazaro was an intern at NASA Headquarters Communications division. At NASA, Lazaro helped strategize internal and external communications and was able to work on the Artemis mission. Also, Lazaro was a student ambassador and was recognized as one of four torchbearers. Further, Lazaro is also a former employee of the University holding previous positions at the Alumni Association and College of Law. During his Spring 2021 in-person semester at Washington D.C., he hopes to pursue a career in Science Communications. Lazaro's passion and personal goals align with Science, Technology, and Communications. As a Miami native born and raised in the Sweetwater community, Lazaro explains his ambitions come from his family and the diverse culture growing up in South Florida.
