Taina Senatus

Bio

Taina Senatus is a senior at Florida International University and a student in the Honors College. She is preparing to complete her undergraduate adventure (fingers crossed!) with a major in Political Science and a minor in International Relations. During her final spring semester at FIU, Taina will be interning for Cavarocchi Ruscio Dennis (CRD) Associates, which allows her to learn the ins and outs of lobbying for health policy.

In her time at FIU, Taina has served as an executive board member for FIU Student Ambassadors, Le Cercle Français and Pi Delta Phi. Organizations dedicated to providing FIU pride and values to students on and off campus. Taina is a former Residential Assistant which she believes has taught her to handle any unforeseen circumstances that may come her way.

As a Hamilton Scholar, she will focus on health disparities particularly in the ever developing COVID-19 crisis. After graduating from FIU, Taina plans to pursue a career in the Global Health or Immigration sector.
